On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, around 5:30 AM a black male entered the 8th Street Arcade located at 1951 S. 8th Street Fernandina Beach brandishing a firearm. The suspect fired a round into the ceiling of the business. As the business clerk tried to hide the suspect fire a shot in her direction and demanded money from the business. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken and the suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction. The suspect is a black male who had long dreadlocks and was wearing a black mask.
