Yulee, Fla. – According to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Bill Leeper is pleased to announce three promotions within the Corrections/Jail facility that were effective March 1, 2013.
Sergeant Kay Lynn Crews was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Lieutenant Crews is a nine-year veteran of the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office.
Corporal Melissa Boyd was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Sergeant Boyd is an eleven-year veteran of the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office.
Detention Deputy Johnny D. Carter was promoted to the rank of Corporal. Corporal Carter is a six-year veteran of the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office.
The employees at the Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate our coworkers on their promotions and offer them support as they transition into their new roles.
