Robin Patterson
Robin Patterson is a 28-year law enforcement veteran with the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office. She is a proud life-long resident of Nassau County and raised her family here. She rose through the ranks at NCSO from detention deputy, bailiff, school resource officer, patrol officer, criminal investigations detective, field training patrol officer, motor unit, patrol sergeant, special operations sergeant, training sergeant, training lieutenant, services captain, services director, and now the Director of Professional Standards and Inspector General. She was the project manager on NCSO’s implementation of New World Systems, which earned her supervisor of the year. She worked in the County’s Emergency Operations Center during local activations and as a member of the Region 3 Incident Management Team for state activation.
She graduated from Fernandina Beach High School and later earned an Associate Degree from Florida Community College of Jacksonville in Criminal Justice. She attended the FBI Leadership Trilogy and Florida Department of Law Enforcements, Florida Leadership Academy Class 39. She served as a member of Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission, State Officer Certification Exam which develops the state exams for all officers in the State of Florida. In 2024, she attended and graduated from the prestigious FBI National Academy, class 290, in Quantico, Virginia.
She oversees all areas in Professional Standards, Internal Affairs, Human Resources, Accreditation and Training.
