Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper handed out certificates to three people at a graduation ceremony on Friday, February 8, 2019, officially certifying them as the first ever Nassau County School guardians. The Guardian Program was approved by the Florida Legislature last year and signed into law by Governor Rick Scott after the school shooting occurred
