WARRANTS UNIT
Warrants Unit Clerk is responsible for the entry and storage of all of the following:
- Capiases
- Arrest Affidavits
- Writs of Attachment
- Custody Orders
- Injunctions for Protection
- Warrants
The Warrants Clerk also handles coordinating information with multiple law enforcement agencies for transport and extradition of subjects from other jurisdictions.
The Nassau County Sheriffs Office is unable to release any information on outstanding warrants to the public over the phone. Warrant information must be acquired “in person” or by contacting the Criminal Division at the Nassau County Courthouse.
