Roy Henderson

Roy Henderson is a 41 year law enforcement veteran.  He is an accomplished law enforcement management professional with extensive background in operations, critical incident management and homeland security operations.  He rose through the ranks from patrolman; narcotics detective; patrol sergeant; homicide sergeant; lieutenant of patrol and tactical support; SWAT; Assistant Chief of Patrol; Assistant Chief of Homeland Security; SWAT Commander, and Chief of Homeland Security, Narcotics and Vice before his retirement from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office 2009. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Liberty University.  For the past 6 years he has served as the Director of Operations for the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office which oversees all aspects of the Law Enforcement Operations such as the Patrol Division; Criminal Investigations Division & Victims Advocate Program; Narcotics and Vice; Crime Scene Unit; Special Operations; Traffic Unit; Special Response Team (SRT); Agriculture/Marine Unit; D.A.R.E.; Dive Team; Emergency Management; Civil Process; School Resource Officers and School Crossing Guards.
