Yulee High School student arrested for selling drugs

Yulee, Fla. – After receiving information about a Yulee High School student selling illegal narcotics, Nassau County Sheriff’s Office detectives arranged for a drug buy.

 

Detectives from NCSO purchased 3.9 grams of marijuana and 4 Oxycodone (30mg) pills from the student on two separate occasions.  The juvenile suspect stated that his supplier could get more marijuana if the detective wanted some.  A third purchase was then arranged at the Amelia Concourse subdivision clubhouse with the student and his supplier for 29 grams of marijuana.  After the purchase, both individuals were arrested and taken to the Nassau County Detention Facility.

 

Arrested were Emily Carol Alveranga, 26, from Jacksonville, Florida for Sale of Marijuana and Possession of Opium/Derivative.  The 17 year old male student from Fernandina Beach, Florida was arrested for Sell/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Sell/Delivery of Marijuana (two counts), Possession of less than 20 grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
