Undersheriff George Lueders is a thirty-three year law enforcement veteran. He began his career at the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. He was an Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and Assistant Chief. His assignments included: Patrol, Investigations and Organized Crime. He was promoted to Chief and finally to Director of Investigations and Homeland Security before retiring from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. He was a guest lecturer for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Brunswick, Georgia, teaching Drug Enforcement and Intelligence Led Policing topics to law enforcement executives nationwide. He also served as Vice-Chair of First Coast Crime Stoppers. He holds an Associate of Arts degree from Florida Junior College, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the State of New York and is a graduate of the 175th Session of the FBI Academy. He assists the Sheriff in overseeing the daily operations of the Sheriff’s Office.
