April Declared By Governor Rick Scott As Distracted Driving Awareness Month Yulee, Fla. – There are more than 15 million licensed drivers in Florida and millions of other who visit the state each year.  In 2014, there were over 42,000 distracted driving crashes in Florida resulting in more than 200 fatalities and over 35,000 injuries.
